Geeky physics humor, I mean, uh, math humor

Ah, the complexity, pain and humor of samsara all wrapped up .....
Credit for pointing this out goes to my monk-physicist friend .......

It's not physics humor, it's math humor. Completely different! =D

When did I send this to you? Usually I wouldn't mention it to my non-geek friends because it's really hard to appreciate the humor if you don't know the material.

(Every line uses one or two words or phrases commonly used in grad-level mathematics. It's basically an endless string of puns, for example between "tensor" and "tenser," as in "I'm getting tensor every day." A "tensor" is basically a multilinear functional, or equivalently an element in some multidirect product of a vector space and its dual.)

Take care--

Yeshe, that makes perfect sense.

??????

Actually, even though we don't get most of the puns, its still a riot, because we know there are puns we are not getting. And we know where they are by, listening to the laughter of those who do.
